Bryan Gould founded MyEnergyBank in 2011 with aspirations of developing the world’s renewable energy resources. He established MyEnergyBank just weeks after the Fukushima, Japan nuclear disaster, and just before the enactment of Japan’s renewable energy Feed-In Tariff system. MyEnergyBank has developed over 30 Megawatts of operating renewable energy projects. Bryan has over twenty years of work experience in Japan, and speaks fluent Japanese and native English. He is a retired U.S. Navy officer

James Gibson
Vice President, Finance
James Gibson joined My Energy Bank in 2015. As VP of Finance, James specializes in evaluating financial instruments and preparing the underwriting for My Energy Bank’s projects. He has over seven years of commercial real estate, corporate finance, and private equity experience, spanning New York City, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. He speaks Japanese and English.

Shoko Kokai
Assistant
Shoko Kokai joined My Energy Bank at the beginning of 2017 as a member of the execution team. Kokai has over five years of commercial experience in the hospitality sector, several of which were spent working in operations at the Four Seasons Tokyo. Shoko is bilingual?speaking native-level English and Japanese.
